The only charity that caters for the specialist needs of limb reconstruction patients

Consultant surgeon raises more than £2,000 in London Marathon

Mark Phillips, consultant orthopaedic surgeon at King's College Hospital and KCH Limb Reconstruction trustee, has raised more than £2,000 by running in this year's London Marathon.

Mark was dressed in surgical scrubs to complete this first marathon in 4h44. All involved in the trust are delighted with Mark's achievements. "The money he raised will help further the work we do to help patients undergoing limb reconstruction", said KCH LRT co-chairman Tony Bertin.

If you would like to run in the 2011 London Marathon to raise money for KCH LRT, you can apply on-line for a ballot place at www.virginlondonmarathon.com. The trust will do all it can to support you in your race.
