The limb reconstruction team at King’s College Hospital were delighted to win the Best Medical Team Award in the WellChild Awards 2009. WellChild is the national charity for sick children.
Prince Harry and a host of celebrities attended this fifth annual WellChild Awards ceremony.

The team from King’s led by Sarah Phillips joined sick children and caring health professionals from throughout the country to receive a well deserved pat on the back in a star studded celebration at the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel, London, on 28 September.
Prince Harry and a host of celebrities attended this fifth annual WellChild Awards ceremony. The Limb Reconstruction Team is a multidisciplinary team of 18 who work to support patients with congenital or acquired limb deformities or complications with fractures.

Members of the team who attended the awards ceremony were Sarah Phillips, Debbie Bond, Vicky Khan, Freda Cahalan, Ruth Boyd and Karen Sherris.
